18th November

After our arrival at airport WWF Russian team came to received us, we had exchange of greeting followed by interview session with media for 30 minutes. The next destination place was to Sedanko hotel, place where we will be staying one week. By bus we have to travel 2 hours from airport. At hotel we the delegates and guest are registered and allotted with rooms, then we placed our baggage in the room and gone to get WWF dress.

Then at 12 p.m. we had gathering for lunch, all the delegates from fourteen countries and WWF Russia team joint the lunch and had informal interaction. After lunch they have a schedule of sightseeing tour around the Vladivostok where we are taken by bus and had a wonderful moment with new friends. There after we had to go back to hotel and had another assemble for dinner.

At 7 p.m. we gathered in hall attached to restaurant for formal/proper or “Getting to know you” session. This interactive session was done through presentation, for that the organizer already has the compilation of photos from all the 14 countries which were kept mixed on the table. For the preparation of the presentation we are made available with materials like chart, pen, pencil, color, glue, eraser etc… based on our creativity, fact, and the information from the pictures, we have to introduce our self, country we belong to, and the associated information on our country. For getting all set with presentation we were given one hour to work on. After that there was consecutive presentation from all the countries. This interactive session was extremely effective in widening our knowledge on others countries. Once we have completed with presentation there was a small briefing on Youth Tiger Forum program, task, and objectives. Then we dispersed to our room.

17th November

Our boarding time was at 6:40 a.m. and at early hours of the daybreak we got up and set our luggage. In the meantime the Taxi arrived to pick us at 4 a.m. after taxi reached us at Indra Gandhi International Airport, our belongings and travelling document are processed and checked. Then we hang about till our boarding time. Precisely on 7:20 a.m. we took off from Delhi to Moscow the capital city of Russia in Aeroflot, flight number SU536, Russian airlines. Approximately it took 5 hours to get there at Moscow International Airport. There we meet with delegates from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and United Kingdom and we are all together in next flight. Then we arrived in port and collected our luggage after that we had a reception from one of the Russian lady. Under her direction we spend some time in Moscow airport taking some snacks before next air travel to Vladivostok, Far East of Russia. By then it was 4:40 p.m. the Russian time (the time differences is four hours from Delhi) and it was time for our boarding. Roughly around 5 p.m. in the evening we dash off from Moscow in flight number SU721. The time taken to land at Vladivostok was 8 hours 45 minutes from Moscow. So in the morning of 18th November, at 8 a.m. we landed at Vladivostok International Airport. The outside temperature at that time was -12 degree Celsius and very cold. For information the time differences of Vladivostok from Moscow is 7 hours.  

16th November

 It’s another day in New Delhi, the 16^th November. We are waiting for our Russian visa at Bhutan Embassy. Meanwhile I and my friend ambassador Ms. Cheychey set out to train museum which was 5 minutes walk form embassy. Later than we went to second time shopping to same place that we have visited early evening. By 5 p.m. in the late afternoon we came back to our room and gone for dinner where we had some discussion on next day flight and left to our room.

Programme (Incorporates detail description of our trip from Bhutan to Vladivostok, week long program at Vladivostok, and way back to Bhutan)

Here is the brief account of our journey from Bhutan to Vladivostok, Far East of Russia and back to Bhutan. We will also talk in detail on our week long programme of International Youth Tiger Summit held from 18^th to 24^th of November, 2010. The information are organized under each dates, based on the activities we carried out.

15^th November

 On 15^th November, the first day of the week in the morning around 6 a.m. Ms. Yangchi Pema, Assistant Communication Officer of WWF Bhutan came to pick us (Ms.Cheychey and Mrs. Dawa) from PCE (Paro College of Education) site. We had concise exchange of good bye words to Dean Student Affair of PCE and our relatives. After that we went to Paro International Airport which was 10 minutes from PCE. After we arrived at airport we have undergone examination and documentation procedure. Then we remained in waiting room for flight. The reserved time of the air travel was at 9 a.m. but it was delayed by one and a half hours from Delhi, so we have to hang on till 10:45 a.m. then exactly after 1 and a ½ hour we embarked from Paro International Airport in KB204. It took two hours to get to Indra Gandhi International Airport, Delhi the capital city of India. After we arrived there, we collected our luggage from the counter and headed to Bhutan Embassy. At embassy we requested in charge (concern person), to provide us with room for two nights on 15^th and 16^th. Then we kept our baggage in the room and entered in restaurant for lunch. Afterward we decided to go for shopping at nearby shopping center which was located 4 Km from Bhutan embassy. We spend two hours doing our necessary shopping and came back to our quarters. On the way back we were looking for eating place and entered into one of the inn where we had a dinner. Then we proceeded back to our room by taxi.
